One of the most common causes of a defective Sinclair ZX Spectrum 48K is the failure of the dynamic Video RAM.
New IC´s are hard to get and are often very old stock. This is a better new solution based on SRAM technology. It replaces the video RAM fully and does not need -5V or 12V support, which is often the cause of broken RAM.
It is simple to install:
- remove old RAM
- insert new RAM (you need only to solder if there are no sockets)
Sometimes the Z80 CPU & Bottom RAM can also be defective causing the Sinclair ZX Spectrum 48K to fail .... we also offer a replacement module for this.
